Opened in August 2008, Blue Lime operates in a former residential building we entirely refurbished while retaining some historic touches such as floor tiling in some areas. The main swimming pool was created then. In 2010, we added four rooms with their own plunge pools and five deluxe rooms.
For visitors wandering into the small laneway off the Royal Institute of Fine Arts, it is a delightful surprise to discover this quiet, green, oasis-like space among the typical ebullience of Cambodian daily life. Many of our guests whose stay in Phnom Penh is related to teaching or consulting at the Royal Institute of Arts or the National Museum find particularly convenient to reside in the heart of the Historic District, and nevertheless to enjoy such tranquility.
Blue Lime is one of several Phnom Penh operations created by MAADS, a hospitality management & development company set in Cambodia. Several hotels, restaurants and stores are floating MAADS colors around the country, including Templation at the gates of Angkor, Siem Reap, a collection of 33 suites and villas, most of them with private pools.
